This course aims to introduce the learner to the fundamental principles and terminology used in the Japanese point therapy of Shiatsu. On completion of the module students will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to perform basic Shiatsu Therapy. This qualification provides the skills required for competence in Shiatsu therapy links, these skills to the wider oriental therapies framework. It also covers the provision of Shiatsu treatment to the clients with specific needs such as women and children.
