Diploma of Children’s Services has been designed to give students both the theoretical and hands on skills to work as competent, caring and professional child care workers. The course covers caring for children and their families, work place health and safety, programming for and interacting with children, and the work environment.
This qualification covers workers in children’s services who are responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements.
